Hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) is an advanced biofuel that is becoming increasingly important. The HVO that is licensed in Switzerland is made from renewable energy sources, meaning that this innovative product is classified as low-carbon (80–90% reduction in CO₂) and is not in competition with food and animal feed.

Made from 68% diesel, 25% HVO and 7% biodiesel. This blend complies fully with European diesel standard EN 590. Thanks to the 32% biofuel content, the fuel generates 29% less CO₂ than diesel.
